Jason & Justine | Wedding

We love summer because .... DAHLIAS!!! They're a crowd favorite, a personal favorite, and just hands down to die for! When we met with Justine, all her inspiration photos included the Cafe Au Lait dahlias, mixed with other white, ivory, and blush flowers. We added just a touch of Italian ruscus and leather fern for some contrast and the result was just lovely.

I don't usually like to write about myself, but Justine's wedding did take place on my 26th birthday. Upon packing up the cars before we left, Terha surprised me with mimosas and some cute personalized gifts. She's the best! :)

Ok enough about me!... Let's get back to the pretty pictures!

BRIDAL PARTY

Justine's bouquet included Cafe Au Lait dahlias, white ball dahlias, Alabaster garden roses, Emely blush standard roses, and blush spray roses.

The bridesmaids bouquets were similar in floral and color, but different with a touch of greenery. They were made of white standard roses, white and blush spray roses, white stock, and Italian ruscus.

For the men... a standard white rose wrapped in blush ribbon. Perfect touch of floral for their lapels!

The groom's boutonniere had a white alabaster rose with two blush spray roses, and some Italian ruscus for the backing.

Justine requested baby's breath crowns with blush ribbon tails for her flower girls. These turned out so stinking cute! I loved making them.

We do make corsages more often than you think... but I ALWAYS forget to take a picture of them. Using just spray roses, I think these made the perfect statement piece for the moms.

CEREMONY

Justine had a an arch that was very unique... small but quaint. It didn't need much, so we just added some floral, more heavily concentrated in the middle, with greens around it.

And who needs a step stool when my 6' 7" hubby is around. He was a major help in assembling this piece, all while keeping Hunter Grant asleep in the baby carrier.

Not pictured are 5,000 blush petals scattered all over the aisle. You'll just have to wait for Selcouth Photography's photo of that... which, let's be honest, will do the ceremony setup justice.

RECEPTION

The centerpieces Justine used were gold painted mason jars; some metallic and some glittered! Placed on top of a wood slab paired with the floral and greens made for an elegant yet fun centerpiece.
