Erik & Erika | Wedding

October 7, 2017

Erik and Erika's wedding was really unique because of all the different elements they incorporated... and yes, both their names are spelled with a "K." :)

Their wedding took place at Bella Gardens Estate in Murrieta. Just imagine an intimate ceremony setup underneath giant trees, with rustic doors serving as the altar... then transition to a large barn with a more industrial/rustic feel, fabric draped from the ceiling, chandeliers glowing, reflecting the natural light from windows above, and rich wood tables and chairs filling the space. Scroll to see if my words do this place justice (and maybe see some floral too ;) ). I promise I'll get to it! Can you tell we really like working at new venues?!

The venue may have been new to us, but we had the opportunity to work with some familiar faces, including Selcouth Creative! Their photos are simply the best!

Enjoy! :)

BRIDAL PARTY

Erika's bouquet featured all the ivories, whites, and blush blooms, with some pops of burgundy (ranunculus) and yellow (billy balls)! We always think the Sweet Natalie dahlias steal the show because of their size and beauty, but I think the Charity garden roses are giving them a run for their money. And what's a rustic wedding without some eucalyptus?!... Seeded, silver dollar, parvafolia, and gunni eucalyptus to be exact!

As I was leaving the reception site during setup, I walked into the foyer of the barn with this stunner right in my face! I can guarantee that Selcouth got a better picture than me, but I still couldn't help but snap one.

Put the bouquet and dress (and bride!) together and you get... voila!

Erika had one bridesmaid, which allowed us to splurge a bit with some higher end blooms in her best gal's bouquet! But seriously, am I right about the Charity vs Sweet Natalie competition??

The boutonnieres were made of ranunculus and parvafolia eucalyptus, wrapped in ivory satin ribbon to top them off with some class!

The burgundy definitely popped on Erik's suit, and was a good

accent to his tan colored tie.

CEREMONY

Touched By Time provided these rustic doors to serve as Erik and Erika's altar. We had the privilege of creating a floral spray to add some color and make this piece really stand out! We used the majority of the same blooms that were in the bouquets, but added some pepper tree, baby's breath, and carnations!

RECEPTION

Like I mentioned earlier, GIANT barn! Isn't it just gorgeous?! The pictures pale in comparison to seeing it in person.

Round and farm tables were used for the reception. Farm tables included a garland runner down the center with blooms placed throughout, while the round tables had small crates with three mason jars inside that were filled with flowers and greenery.

How cute are the table numbers?! We're likin' the dual purpose!

Gold chargers for the win!

Erik and Erika's sweetheart setup was just the...well, sweetest! Rumor has it that Erika hand painted the signs behind the table! Amazing!!!

What's not pictured is the ceremony spray that would later be repurposed on the front of their table.

Wishing these two the best of marital bliss! Loved being a part of their wedding! :)

Until next time,

xoxo,
