Reed & Cassie | Wedding

Reed & Cassie were a joy to get to know throughout the planning process! Their wedding was truly unique with a simplistic, wildflower theme. I'm sure your mind probably went straight to weeds, but the pictures below tell a different story.

Scroll away my friends! :)

PS, the light in the sunroom at Owl Creek Farms is just amazing!

BRIDAL PARTY

Cassie's bouquet was TO DIE FOR! Seriously, one of Terha's favorites that she has created... and one that she didn't want to give away. The wildflower theme was included in the greenery and foliage, but the Juliet garden roses and white ranunculuses definitely added elegance to this bouquet.

Pictured below is a different side of the bouquet, that included the groom's grandmother's sapphire necklace in the center of one of the garden roses. Another "something blue" that is not pictured is Reed's hospital band from when he was born.

And then the beauty of the bouquet is forgotten once put in the bride's hands... she's a showstopper, isn't she?!

The bridesmaids' bouquets were created with stock as the biggest bloom, and then complemented with wax flower, limonium, lavender, olive branches, and silver dollar eucalyptus for a complete, full look.

In our consultation meeting, Reed has mentioned that his mother's wedding had ranunculuses in it and he requested that his boutonniere be a ranunculus as a way to honor his mother... This time, we paired with a pop of purple

wax flower and hint of limonium.

CEREMONY

Reed and Cassie got married under the giant Oak Tree at Owl Creek Farms... needless to say, not much to add to the ceremony site. These doors from Touched By Time Vintage Rentals added a statement to the entrance of the ceremony site while we just added a small spray in the corner to incorporate some wildflower-ness.

RECEPTION

Reed and Cassie's reception had round tables, with light gray tablecloths, paired with vintage mirrored trays and votives. Cue the eclectic, vintage bottles as vases for wildflowers and you've got a winner!

We must pause for a moment to recognize that this is our first wedding since Hunter was born! Superstar mom Terha rocking the baby carrier as she assembled centerpieces.

Touched By Time Vintage Rentals also had set up a cute little sitting area complete with a teepee... YES, a teepee! It may look familiar, as it was also used back in October for Sarah's wedding.

SWEETHEART / HEAD TABLE

We're noticing the sweetheart / head table combination is becoming quite popular! We went more elaborate with the sweetheart garland, to give it a more romantic feel. Reed and Cassie wanted to keep things simple and within in their budget, so they graciously gave us the freedom to do something that would be the best of both worlds. We opted for smaller garland slabs on the head tables to balance the sweetheart table.

CAKE

We FINALLY got to decorate a cake! We've had clients ask for cake decor in the past, but we are never on site by the time it arrives.

King & Queen... classic, simple, tasteful (no pun intended ;) )

Unique and fun... This wedding was nothing short of the perfect display of the bride and groom's personalities and love for one another.

Until next time!

xoxo,

Stephanie
