Fallin' For Bohemian

As all the elements came together on Sarah's special day, we couldn't help but fall more and more in love with her vintage bohemian theme. Her vision was far from traditional, but lacked nothing in the categories of romance and elegance. Deep reds with pops of white and blush made her color palette the perfect selection for October. Pair those colors with vintage furniture, terrariums, and a handmade macrame; you get the dreamy bohemian look and feel that Sarah envisioned and had everyone talking! Scroll through the pictures to see for yourself! :)

The ceremony and reception took place in the front yard of Kevin's (groom) parents' house in Menifee.

Upon our arrival, the ceremony was already set up with the vintage furniture in place, thanks to TouchedByTime Vintage Rentals. Before getting to work on our blank canvas, bouquet pictures were a must with the decor!

Sarah's bouquet was made of blush Juliet garden roses, white spray roses, red dahlias, veronicas, dusty miller, silver dollar eucalyptus, and seeded eucalyptus.

Her bouquet was wrapped in burgundy ribbon, topped with a piece of her grandmother's wedding dress.

The bridesmaids bouquets were slightly different than the bride's, including more red than blush. The bridesmaids bouquets consisted of red heart roses, white garden roses, blush dahlias, blush spray roses, veronicas, dusty miller, silver dollar eucalyptus, and seeded eucalyptus.

Succulents as boutineers have to be the cutest thing ever! Paired with seeds from eucalyptus leaves and twine, they were the perfect rustic touch for the lapels of the groom and groomsmen.

We added baby's breath to the groom's boutineer for a slight variation from the others.

After some pictures, it was time to get to work!

Eucalyptus was our new best friend as we added some to the teepee, bar, and ceremony arch.

Sarah handmade the macrame that was hung on the arch. We placed some small spray roses and dahlias on it for just a touch of color.

The centerpieces were a mix and match of terrariums and candle sticks. They were so simple, yet the combination of gold, eucalyptus, and red roses made such a bold statement!

And how about this for a head table?!

After our set up is complete, we always like to check in with the bride and say goodbye. We caught Sarah right before the start of the ceremony and were able to capture a few pictures of her and her bridesmaids.

Let's not forget the adorable flower girl who rocked a crown of olive leaves and baby's breath!

Talk about romantic! Both Sarah and her bridesmaids were absolutely stunning!

We love seeing how all the floral details tie an entire wedding together! We "ooh and awe" as we create the bouquets, flower crowns, and other elements before arriving for set up. But there is something so special about seeing them with the bride, bridesmaids, and groomsmen. Some might call it pride, but I think it's better classified as joy. It was a privilege to work with Sarah and Kevin and our satisfaction comes from seeing their smiles, knowing our work was just a small snippet of the best day of their lives.

Until next time!

xoxo,

Stephanie
